Our Mission:

To provide and maintain affordable, well-designed, websites to fun and interesting commercial and nonprofit endeavors so they may prosper.

Our Clients

dot com Web Works (dcWW) specializes in website design for the travel and tourism sector, nonprofit organizations, creative entrepreneurs, as well as other selected commercial endeavors which do not harm the planet and that are, frankly, fun to work on. It is our philosophy that in order for us to do our best work, we must believe in the service, mission, or product of our clients. Such a selection process may not be a very popular approach for a business to take, but dot com Web Works is about more than just making money: we want our Clients to have the best web presence possible. To do this, we must have our heart invested into the creation process, which we believe our clients will state is reflected in the attention provided them throughout the creation process—and afterwards with respects to post design maintenance.

The Relationship

dot com Web Works is operated by Richard Hamel, and is supported by his small network of talented associates within the website design and communications field. We are a small company, so you can expect the personal attention and follow-through that is so lacking in the website design industry. A working relationship with us is like having a webmaster on staff; employed only when website services are needed, done by someone who is responsive. (Most alterations are done with 24 hours!)

Our Style

The style we employ tends to be a more organic one. We steer clear of the rigid, boilerplate formats often produced by unimaginative webmasters, and instead employ user-friendly formats that communicate important information: comfortable, intuitive, with plenty of images and character. But our finished projects speak for themselves, so please take a moment to see our Portfolio.
